Darren Bent has developed a reputation for being lethal in front of goal, but it turns out he's lethal at both ends of the pitch.

The England international striker is currently plying his trade with Derby County in the Championship, but was on target at the wrong end when the Rams hosted Leicester City in the FA Cup. Bent is by no means the only man to blame after what can only be described as a catalogue of errors, with goalkeeper Scott Carson not coming out of this well. But the former Tottenham and Sunderland frontman - presented with an opportunity to clear his lines after a Leicester corner - let his poacher's instincts take hold and absolutely leathered the ball into the Derby net. https://twitter.com/btsportfootball/status/825076677504032769 We should have known Bent would be among the goals, considering his previous record in the competition. https://twitter.com/OptaJoe/status/825054975495651329 Just not like that. https://twitter.com/WhoScored/status/825072849316696068 Bent did redeem himself soon after, heading beyond Kasper Schmeichel to equalise, but we get the feeling one of the goals will be replayed a lot more than the other. After all, the own goal was a special moment for everyone besides Bent. https://twitter.com/BBCMOTD/status/825073212941811712 And plenty of people enjoyed the Friday night entertainment. https://twitter.com/eaamalyon/status/825071879161573377 https://twitter.com/Nozza_/status/825073428013133826 https://twitter.com/ChrisMNee/status/825071962166853633 https://twitter.com/JoeBaia/status/825072738343714821 Catch up with this week's episode of 888sport Football Friday Live
