Dildogate really changed the game. Ever since that poor Sky Sports reporter was attacked with a purple sex toy outside a training ground in 2014, transfer deadline day hasn't had the same sense of excitement.
Sure, the total spend is still there in yellow and black for all of us to see, as if the increasing amount of expenditure is automatically a good thing. But there's no more raucous crowds outside stadiums and training grounds. No more 'Arry leaning out of his Ranger Rover explaining that he's trying to get a couple more bodies in, once they figure out how to clone Niko Kranjcar.
But still, it's an exciting day for many. Not for me, I hate the transfer window. But here's quiz on some of the most iconic moments on deadline days from time gone by.
