That way you can avoid slip-ups like this one from The Sun, linking Middlesbrough with Danish footballer Ekstra Bladet.
Sounds like Boro are on the verge of a pretty exciting deal, eh? Only one problem: Ekstra Bladet is the name of a Copenhagen-based tabloid, rather than a footballer.

Boro have, of course, been linked with Nicolai Boilesen – the Danish left-back whose Ajax contract expired this summer. Not a tabloid whose top sports stories at the time of writing are about tennis star Caroline Wozniacki and Olympic swimmer Mie Østergaard Nielsen.
Perhaps it’s a wry observation on Middlesbrough manager Aitor Karanka needing to paper over the cracks in defence. No, we’re not buying it either.
