So Joe Duffy's unspoken comment on the matter raised a few eyebrows.
After a training session with Tom Breese, the Irish lightweight posed with a t-shirt of Conor McGregor. No explanation, just presented it in all its glory.
Duffy was the last person to beat the Notorious in professional MMA before Nate Diaz, but he apparently still buys his compatriot's memorabilia.
News that McGregor was to be pulled from the UFC 200 card was also seized by Duffy who was straight on the ball retweeting suggestions that he should fill the void in Vegas.
