The Springboks centre is back in pre-season season with his Super Rugby franchise, the Bulls. South Africa's 2016 season has just wrapped but Super Rugby sides are already back on the grind.
That is how bonkers world rugby now is.
The 22-year-old has 16 Test caps with the Boks and will be hoping to help them turn their fortunes around next summer. For now, though, he is getting himself into top shape for 2017.
Kriel shared this image [below] today and it certainly caught our attention. The man's arms are so pumped that he looks like some sort of tragi-comic action man.

Our course, Kriel's serious defined body did not come down in the last rain shower.
He has been honing his physique for the last number of years and has it down to a fine art at this stage.
