Sue Smith announced as star in Q and A session for Lionesses watch along

The former England star will be there to watch along with the lucky fans

Taking place at the Kings Arms (Bishopgate), 27 Wormwood St, London EC2M 1RP, London on Tuesday August 1, fans will be able to hear from former Doncaster Rovers Belles and England star Sue Smith, who will speak to JOE's very own host, Hunter Godson, before Sarina Wiegman's side take on China, where kick off begins at 12:00pm.

During her playing days, Smith had spells with Tranmere, Leeds, Lincoln and Doncaster. She has also represented the Lionesses at the World Cup and European Championships, receiving 93 caps and was voted Player of the Year in 1999 and 2001. Since retiring, Smith has also moved into punditry and has been seen regularly on Sky Sports.

Doors open before kick off to allow those attending to enjoy a hearty breakfast before the Q and A session begins, where Sue will answer some of the best questions on the floor while discussing her career and England's chances at the tournament with Hunter. Those in attendance will then be able to watch the game alongside one of their heroes, who will then analyse all of the action from the first 45.

After the second half watch along comes to a close, there will also be a deep dive into what happened during the game before the event itself finishes 14:15pm.
