As far as cameos go, Steven Gerrard's 38-second substitute appearance against Manchester United in March was a tough benchmark to beat.
But Stockport County's Andy Robinson was a man on a mission when he was given the shout from his manager to enter the fray during their 1-0 defeat at Solihull Moors on Saturday in the National League North.
This touchline footage shows Robinson, who you'll probably remember better from his time at Swansea and Leeds, going through his last-minute check from the fourth official before jogging onto the pitch with five minutes remaining on the clock.

Strangely, we then see the referee run to the touchline to confer with the official before brandishing a red card to Robinson, who had been on the pitch for 32 seconds.
There are varying reports about why Robinson was sent off with some suggesting that he swore at the fourth official but others claiming that there was an issue with his kit.
Whatever it was, it was more effective than Gerrard's stamp on Herrera in our new favourite sport, speed send-offs.
