Despite reports on Friday that Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has hinted that he might quit Stamford Bridge before the summer’s out, we have – as of yet – absolutely nothing to report on that matter.
Knowing that the average JOE reader takes a keen interest in top flight Israeli football transfer news, we were (of course) referring to Beitar Jerusalem’s new man, Antoine Conte (no relation to the Chelsea boss).
The French defender, 23, had actually been loaned out to Beitar from Reims last January and has now made the deal a permanent one.

Conte began his career at Paris Saint-Germain before moving to Reims in 2013. Like his deal with Beitar, his move to Reims was initially a temporary one.
