Leicester City's slip-up against West Ham last weekend gave Tottenham fans real hope of clawing their way up towards the league leaders.
Spurs answered their title challengers with an emphatic 4 0 victory over Stoke at the beginning of the week, and it was all eyes on Swansea City on Sunday afternoon, with fans of the North London club hoping they might go into the MNF game with West Brom with the opportunity to close the gap even further.
If Leicester are going to surrender their place at the top of the table, though, then there was absolutely so sign of nerves against the Swans. They thrashed the Welsh club 4 0 at the King Power Stadium without the services of top scorer Jamie Vardy, and the collective sentiment from the Spurs faithful was that of "thanks for nothing Swansea".
