Leicester were surprisingly eliminated from the Europa League by the Czech side

Slavia Prague players found time to FaceTime Tomáš Souček as they celebrated their Europa League victory over Leicester City on Thursday night.

Having held Brendan Rodgers’ men to a goalless draw in the Czech capital, Slavia scored twice in the second half to seal their passage to the last 16.

The West Ham midfielder, who started his career with Slavia, had shown his support for his old club on his Instagram Stories during the game…

… and later appeared on FaceTime to his old teammates as they celebrated their win on the King Power pitch.

Th 25-year-old had been in touch with Slavia’s coaches in the buildup to their tie with the Foxes to offer his advice on how to beat them.

Slavia opened the scoring early in the second half through Lukáš Provod, with Abdallah Sima making absolutely sure of their progress by adding a second with ten minutes of the game remaining.

The Czech side will learn who they face in the Europa League last 16 stage on Friday. Manchester United, Arsenal, Tottenham and Rangers have also progressed.
