Less than 24 hours after being dumped out of the Euros with Switzerland, Breel Embolo had a new club.
The 19-year-old had been widely expected to leave FC Basel this summer, with reports suggesting that Manchester United and Arsenal (amongst others) were keen to make a move.
In the end, it's German club Schalke that have captured the young striker - and they weren't half chuffed with themselves about it.
Instead of a simple tweet to confirm that they'd got their man, the Gelsenkirchen-based club used it as an opportunity to poke fun at the clubs they'd (reportedly) beaten to Embolo's signature.
The video attached to the tweet below shows the badges of five other clubs believed to have been in the hunt for him. Arsenal and Manchester United feature, as do Barcelona and fellow German clubs Wolfsburg and Red Bull Leipzig. Each badge is crossed out one by one before a short video of Embolo in his new club's shirt appears at the end.
