Sage Northcutt’s arms are frankly getting ridiculous at this stage

How on earth does Sage Northcutt make lightweight?

Granted, the ‘Super’ one most recently fought at 170lbs but he will expected to make the lightweight limit again at UFC 214.

And the fact that he is able to stand on a scale and weigh 155lbs momentarily beggars belief because, frankly, the young man is huge!

Northcutt has not competed since December, when he suffered the second defeat of his career courtesy of CM Punk-slayer Mickey Gall, but a series of health issues have apparently been cleared up and he is eager to rebound at the end of this month.

Originally matched up with the relatively unheralded Claudio Puelles, Northcutt must now do battle with a legitimate force in the lightweight division in John Makdessi, who stepped in for the injured Puelles.

Northcutt is availing of the recently launched UFC Performance Institute in Las Vegas and while you may not have thought it possible, he’s actually bulked up since he started using the facilities.

The 21-year-old is renowned for his superhero-esque physique, with perhaps only Yoel Romero rivalling the shape that the youngster is in.

Just look at the size of Northcutt’s arms in the bottom pick of the Instagram collage he posted on Monday.

That’s insane!
