Kiripati helped his side to a hard-fought victory over Naas last weekend, but he copped a bit of a shoeing in the process. The No.8 found himself in the thick of a fiercely contested breakdown when his ear was jagged by some stray studs.

The ear was, thankfully, stitched up and Kiripati has suffered no long-term damage.
Just to be safe, he sat out Bucc's 49-36 win over U.C.C this weekend, but - dedicated captain that he is - was able to make it along for the post-match pints.
