Ronda Rousey v Cyborg may never happen due to these controversial comments

Oh, Tony Hinchcliffe. What have you done?

The American comedian joined Joe Rogan and Dana White on the latest episode of The Joe Rogan Experience and made some pretty inflammatory comments about Invicta featherweight champion Cris Cyborg Justino.

While some of the gloss was taken off Ronda Rousey v Cyborg with the former's crushing defeat at the hands of Holly Holm at the weekend, many fans were still hopeful of seeing the pair square off at some stage. But Hinchcliffe's inappropriate joke has led Cyborg to claim she wouldn't be interested in working for the UFC.

Hinchliffe didn't help himself by responding with allegations of Cyborg taking steroids.

Despite failing a drugs test in 2012, Cris Cyborg Justino has always strenuously denied taking steroids and she threatened Ronda Rousey with legal action over similar claims.

The interest levels in Rousey v Cyborg may have dwindled a bit, but we bet that Dana White regrets taking part in a podcast that has all but eliminated any hope of that money-making fight taking place.
