Ronda Rousey has a tempting offer on the table from UFC legend ‘The Iceman’

That would certainly improve her stand-up

Many predicted that Ronda Rousey’s devastating defeat to Holly Holm would push her to find a new gym.

Rousey’s head coach Edmond Tarverdyan came in for criticism over his fight preparation, as well as the lack of helpful advice he offered between rounds one and two in the main event of UFC 193.

But the former UFC women’s bantamweight champion has committed her future to Glendale Fighting Club and Tarverdyan will continue training her.

UFC hall-of-famer Chuck Liddell doesn’t sound too convinced by Rousey’s decision to continue training with Tarverdyan.

“Is it the guy that told her she could out strike Holly Holm?” Liddell said to TMZ.com“Ronda’s striking has greatly improved, he’s done a great job with her striking — but it’s another step when you go against a professional striker.”

A date has yet to be set for Rousey’s return to the octagon and it’s believed that, in all likelihood, she will take a full year out to recover from the beating she took from Holm in Australia.

But, when she does decide to return to training camp, she has a tempting offer on the table from ‘The Iceman’.

“I’ll train her any time she wants.”

If Liddell could impart even half of his striking knowledge on Rousey then we’ve got an interesting rematch on the horizon.
