Ronaldinho sends former Manchester United midfielder for a hotdog with disgusting nutmeg

Brilliant

Robert Redmond

Poor Jesper Blomqvist.

A team of Barcelona legends took on a team of Manchester United legends on Friday night in the Nou Camp, and Ronaldinho stole Blomqvist’s soul with a nutmeg.

The Barcelona side contained famous names of the past such as Edgar Davids, Gaizka Mendieta, Patrick Kluivert and Rivaldo. While Louis Saha, Dwight Yorke, Park Ji-sung, Alan Smith, Ronny Johnson and Wes Brown took to the field for United in front of 30,000 spectators.

The teams seemed mismatched on paper, but United managed to win by three goals to one, thanks to goals from Yorke, Blomqvist and Karel Poborsky.

The best piece of skill on the night came from Ronaldinho, unsurprisingly. The Brazilian executed a brilliant nutmeg on Blomqvist early in the second, which managed to unbalance the former United winger.

Fantastic but almost cruel from Ronaldinho.

15 years to the day after winning the World Cup, Ronaldinho and Rivaldo showed they haven’t lost any of their old skills.

The Brazilian pair combined to almost score a great goal. Ronaldinho played Rivaldo in on goal with a deft, no-look pass, and the former Barcelona forward almost scored with a rabona. Genius.
