“It is hard to choose just one.”

Brazil legend Ronaldinho has revealed which Premier League side he enjoys watching the most, suggesting that is is ‘hard to choose’.

The 42-year-old never played in the English top-flight, but won a host of trophies during a glittering career – including the World Cup, Champions League, LaLiga title and Serie A title.

He also won a number of prestigious individual awards, being named the Ballon d’Or winner in 2005, while also winning FIFA’s The Best award on two occasions.

Given that the former Brazilian attacker played for several top clubs – including Barcelona, AC Milan and Paris Saint-Germain – it remains unclear where his allegiances actually lie.

However, he is a huge fan of the English top-flight, and is impressed by the attacking talent on show in the Premier League.

Ronaldinho explains why he likes watching Liverpool

Ronaldinho, speaking exclusively to JOE, said: “It’s hard [to choose just one team], there are many. I really like a lot of players from many clubs.

“It is hard to choose just one. I think each club has a great player that I like watching, but I think the attacking players for Liverpool are the players that I currently really like watching.”

Liverpool finished the season with silverware by winning both the FA Cup and Carabao Cup – both won on penalties against Chelsea.

Meanwhile, the Reds’ title rivals – Manchester City – pipped Jurgen Klopp’s side to the Premier League title by one point, with the battle for the trophy going down to the final day of the season.

However, Pep Guardiola’s side will be disappointed that they did not manage to face their Premier League rivals in the Champions League after losing to Real Madrid in the semi-final.

Despite winning the Premier League title, only three City players were included – Joao Cancelo, Kevin de Bruyne and Bernardo Silva.

The Reds had six stars in the team, with Alisson, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Virgil van Dijk, Thiago Alcantara, Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah all being selected.
