LA Galaxy are shaping up to have a decent team in MLS next season.
After completing the free transfer acquisition of Ashley Cole from Roma, Galaxy have now snapped up another impressive freebie from Serie A in Nigel de Jong. The tough tackling Dutchman will partner Steven Gerrard in midfield after signing a one-year deal with the US club. He had been linked with a return to England - where he won the Premier League and FA Cup with Man City during a three-year spell - but it's thought that Leicester missed out on his signature.
