Former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand poked fun at Joleon Lescott for taking the money at Manchester City

Joleon Lescott was a panelist on BT Sport's pre-match coverage of Manchester City's Champions League second round trip to Schalke on Wednesday night and Rio Ferdinand didn't miss an opportunity to poke fun at the club's mega spending when Lescott said the City players used their 'mercenary' accusations as motivation. https://twitter.com/btsportfootball/status/1098306364462546944 "We had that motivation of players and pundits and fans only assuming we went there for money. We would have liked to have had him as a long-term manager."
