Lionel Messi is still bitter about last year's World Cup final loss to Germany.

The Barcelona man came within 90 minutes of football's greatest team prize until a late goal from Mario Gotze secured the golden trinket for the Germans. Messi didn't get a chance to shine in the final and despite clearly being almost other-worldly with his football ability there are some who still fail to see him as better than his idol Maradona due to the lack of a World Cup on his CV. The Argentine normally gives fairly bland interviews but this afternoon it's being reported that he has laid into his critics with a foul mouthed rant on a television interview. cats Messi is also often criticised for his lack of seeming passion for his country, with some football fans upset that he doesn't appear to sing the national anthem, https://twitter.com/JuanG_Arango/status/676075779059511296 https://twitter.com/JuanG_Arango/status/676075997658238976 https://twitter.com/JuanG_Arango/status/676076629060411392 The quotes seem very much out of character from the Barcelona man with many football fans unsure if the translation is correct. https://twitter.com/deejayfaremi/status/676087479393517568 https://twitter.com/The_Classic10/status/676080522292924418 Here's some of the clips if you want to test out your Spanish https://twitter.com/Sportia/status/676074086737428481 https://twitter.com/JuanG_Arango/status/676080918793207808 But Juan isn't backing down from his claims https://twitter.com/The_Classic10/status/676080522292924418
