Rangers goalkeeper delights supporter by pretending he’s Gaël Clichy

Here is a story about Wes Foderingham.

Wes Foderingham is a goalkeeper who plays professional football for Rangers. He is not and, as far as we are aware, never has been French defender Gaël Clichy. Look, here is a picture to prove it. Despite this, Wes shared a brief sub-140 character account of how one man - a Rangers fan - mistakenly believed he was indeed the French full back while he was on board a flight to Glasgow. Asked by the fan if he was the recently-released-by-Manchester-City-because-Pep-Guardiola-has-his-eye-on-buying-half-of-the-Monaco-team star, Foderingham explained that he was Clichy, and that he was travelling to Glasgow to sign for Rangers.
