Premier League starlet Thierry Nevers has been jailed after he boasted about dealing drugs on Instagram.
The 23-year-old, who previously played for West Ham, Newport County and Bradford City, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to supply Class A drugs, being jailed for three years at Lincoln Crown Court on Monday (8 December).
Lincolnshire Police said that phone searches uncovered contact between the footballer and Allan Barrass, 50, from Dorrington, Lincolnshire.
As well as this, police found evidence of Class A drug dealing.
Barrass was sentenced to 10 years behind bars after he admitted to three drug-related offences and one firearms offence.

Lincoln Crown Court heard Nevers was making regular trips from Dorrington to the Reading area to sell drugs.
However, the footballer, who is currently without a club, also boasted about drug dealing in his Instagram videos.
After searching Barrass' address, police found a sawn-off shotgun as well as more weapons.
Authorities seized 40 grams of cocaine, £5,860 worth of cash, and numerous weapons.
Nevers signed for West Ham’s academy in 2021 but left three years later.
Detective Sergeant Adam Petty, of Lincolnshire Police, said: “Drugs have a terrible impact on our communities and will never be tolerated.
“As well as the suffering caused to users, drug dealing brings violence and an uplift in theft offences, and often, as is seen in this case, the possession of dangerous weapons.”
Nevers last played for Croatian Football League club NK Varaždin, leaving in July this year.
Before that he played for Moldovan Super Liga club Sheriff Tiraspol.
