Leicester City installed as favourites to sign Arjen Robben

Leicester City have been installed as favourites to sign veteran Netherlands winger Arjen Robben after he left Bayern Munich at the end of the season. Robben spent 10 seasons at the Allianz Arena after signing from Real Madrid for a fee of €25 million in 2009. He made more than 200 appearances for the Bavarian club during his hugely successful spell there. While there are countless suitors for his signature, Leicester City are surprise favourites to sign him, with the Foxes at 2/1 to bring him to the King Power Stadium. His former club PSV Eindhoven are second favourites with Sky Bet at 3/1, while 'Any MLS Club' and 'Any Chinese Club' are 4/1 and 6/1 respectively. Benfica are also in there, on 8/1, while Everton make a surprise appearance at 11/1, presumably something to do with their Dutch director of football Marcel Brands. Should Brendan Rodgers convince the Dutch legend to move to the Premier League, it would bring back fond memories of the club's achievement in convincing Argentine midfielder Esteban Cambiasso to join prior to the 2014 season. Cambiasso enjoyed a hugely successful spell at the King Power Stadium, helping the Foxes to survival a season before their shocking and memorable Premier League victory.
