'Cowboy' is in the midst of his training camp for his UFC welterweight debut, when he faces Tim Means at UFC Fight Night 83 in three weeks' time, and he wasn't prepared to miss a session.
Cerrone was involved in a car accident on Tuesday afternoon, when the vehicle in which he was travelling overturned in the snowy conditions.
He documented the state of his truck after the accident and it looked like serious injury would have been inevitable.
