Liverpool are through to the Europa League Final after beating Villarreal 3-0 on the night and 3-1 on aggregrate in the semi-final, in what was an emotional night at Anfield. A Bruno own goal in the first half, followed by Daniel Sturridge and Adam Lallana strikes in the second was enough to separate the sides. Villarreal never truly threatened, while having Victor Ruiz sent off in the 71st minute. Liverpool are now through to the final, which will take place on May 18 at in Basel's St. Jacob's Park Stadium against Sevilla, the defending champions.
