The new payout system for fighters from the UFC's Reebok sponsorship deal has been revealed.

The UFC recently announced that they were changing from a ranking system to a new tiered plan based on tenure. Essentially, the more fights an athlete enters for Zuffa promotions, the more they get paid from the Reebok deal. Now the full breakdown of the payout structure has emerged and British middleweight Michael Bisping will be more than happy with it. The sliding scale sees fighters with 1-5 bouts earning a meagre $2,500, while champions will bank $40,000 per contest. Bisping, who has 22 UFC fights under his belt, is set to be one of the top earners, taking home $20,000 in sponsorship for every Octagon appearance. Not bad. Meanwhile, Conor McGregor will earn $30,000 plus his purse for his upcoming title fight with Jose Aldo in the main event at UFC 189.
