Peter Crouch’s ‘Crouchfest’ returns on the eve of World Cup

JOE

Peter Crouch set to make eagerly anticipated Wembley return (No. Not like that)

Hang in there, friends. The wait is very, very nearly over. Four (and-a-half) years on from Harry Kane not squaring it to Raheem Sterling against Croatia in St Petersburg, another World Cup is almost upon us, and what better way to whet our appetite for a month of near-ceaseless football than the return of Peter Crouch’s Crouchfest?

Laying to rest the ghost of Crouchy’s last appearance at Wembley (before Fabio Capello binned him off in 2010), Crouchfest – a special live edition of the acclaimed That Peter Crouch Podcast – takes place at the OVO Arena Wembley on Saturday November 19, the eve of the World Cup opener in Qatar.

It will see Crouchy joined by Chris Stark and Statman Dave and also features a range of musical performances and a big show finale from a dead big, multi-award winning band whose name we’re not actually allowed to reveal yet.

As avid listeners of That Peter Crouch Podcast will know, the audience plays a big part in shaping things and questions submitted by listeners will play an integral part in Crouchfest.

Tickets for Crouchfest are already on sale and can be purchased via this link: https://gigst.rs/Crouchfest
