Not only did he predict that Leicester City were actually title contenders, he also suggested that Hazard might not have a great season, and compared Memphis Depay to Afonso Alves – code for saying that Memphis wouldn't be able to cut it in the English leagues.
The only prediction that was slightly wide of the mark was "Cech is done", but even where that's concerned, Cech hasn't had an outstanding season at Arsenal.
He wasn't the first to link Leicester with the title though. That honour goes to Irishman Peter Butler.
