Jamie Vardy's transformation from 'just some guy' to Premier League golden boot contender is one of many things few saw coming this season.
The England international broke Ruud van Nistelrooy's long-standing goalscoring record before the turn of the year, and has somehow kept his run going to put Leicester City within reach of the title, even if he was sent off against West Ham.
Vardy's goal against the London club was his 24th of the campaign, and some are attributing his upturn in form to the vivid blue bandage on his wrist.
