Mathias Pogba vowed to release the truth

The brother of Paul Pogba has vowed to release ‘explosive’ information about the Juventus midfielder in a video posted to his Twitter account on Saturday night.

Mathias, who has played in the lower level of English football, has recently joined the social media platform and has already caused a stir by claiming the information he has against his sibling could turn people against him.

“The French, English, Italian and Spanish public, in other words the whole world, as well as my brother’s fans, and even more so the French team and Juventus, my brother’s team-mates and his sponsors deserve to know certain things,” he said.

“In order to make an informed decision if he deserves the admiration, respect and love of the public.

“If he deserves his place in the French team and the honour of playing in the World Cup. If he deserves to be a starter at Juventus.

“If he is a trustworthy person, that any player deserves to have at his side.”

The former Wrexham defender continued by then mentioning his brother’s agent, Rafaela Pimenta, who has taken over the handling of the Frenchman’s career following the death of Mino Raiola in April.

Pogba said that he would let fans and players know about her “integrity” and “professionalism” and if she “deserves to represent them.”

Pimenta and Paul Pogba’s lawyer, Yeo Moriba – who is also his mother – have responded to the threat. “Mathias Pogba’s recent statements on social networks are unfortunately not a surprise. They are in addition to threats and organised extortion attempts against Paul Pogba,” they said.

In the final section of the video, Mathias then referred to Paris Saint-Germain striker Kylian Mbappé, claiming that he has “important things” to say about his brother’s international teammate.

“I will tell you very important things about him and there will be elements and many testimonies to confirm my words,” he said.

“Everything could be explosive and make a lot of noise.”
