Neymar's arrival at PSG appears to have forced the former Schalke 04 forward out of contention. His representatives have reportedly sounded out Barcelona about the possibility of a move to the Camp Nou after he wasn't named in the PSG side that faced Guingamp last week. However, with Barca believed to be nearing a deal for Borussia Dortmund's Ousmane Dembele, it seems unlikely Draxler will move to the Spanish club at this time.
Draxler, who doesn't turn 24 until September, has been linked with a number of Premier League clubs during his career, with Arsenal being credited with interest in the player on numerous occasions. Arsene Wenger is likely to be interested in a move for the player again - especially if the north London club decide to cash in on Alexis Sanchez in the days ahead.
Jose Mourinho, who has made little secret of his desire to sign a left winger, may also decide to move for the player after talks for Inter Milan's Ivan Perisic appear to have broke down.
