Footballers have a lot of down time while on international duty
Being part of a national team squad is every footballer's dream. There is no greater honour than representing one's country, as has been testified by countless professionals.
But players have a lot of time to fill when they're not on the training pitch or at a game. Previously, players would have played cards, pool, table tennis etc. during their down time. Nowadays, it's not uncommon that players will bring a games console in a case with a portable screen so they can play Fortnite and the like in their hotel rooms.
Some players have a more sophisticated taste in gaming though, like French wonderkid Ousmane Dembélé, who has been spending his free time in Russia playing Football Manager.

One thing Dembélé may struggle with, however, is achieving his goal of creating a South American atmosphere in Winchester might be a tad unrealistic. You can't accuse him of being unambitious though.

Rumour had been swirling in the last 24 hours that the former Arsenal, Chelsea and, of course, Roma player was set for his first taste of management. Now, it has been confirmed […]
