Neymar confident he can seal PSG move with two-footed lunge at Messi’s head

"The fight with Semedo was okay I guess, but no one here really cares about him," said the Brazil star

Fresh after his bust up with a teammate this week, Barcelona star Neymar has revealed plans that he believes will finally seal his move away from the club.

The Brazilian forward stormed out a first team training session earlier this week after almost coming to blows with new signing, Nelson Semedo.

The scuffle, which was captured on camera, saw the two squaring up and arms being flung before they were separated. A furious Neymar was later seen leaving the training ground.

However, while the skirmish set tongues wagging over the former Santos man’s future, Neymar himself has revealed that a two-foot lunge at Lionel Messi’s head may well be the necessary next step to seal his move to Paris Saint-Germain once and for all.

“The fight with Semedo was okay, I guess, but no one here really cares about him,” said the Brazil star today while looking through a catalogue of hairstyles for middle-aged women.

“If you want a bust up to have a real effect, it has to be with someone that fans and the club actually care about. In that respect, it simply has to be Messi. To be honest, even if I looked at him weird they’d sell me. But I really want to kick him in the head.”

The plan, Neymar claims, is a slightly revised version of one suggested by his father, who believed the best course of action was to steal Messi’s identity and therefore his image rights.

“My dad’s plan was okay but a little too far – you know how fathers get when it comes to image rights – but it did get me thinking: I have to take action if I want to move on and establish myself,” he continued.

“At the end of the day this is about doing what is best for my future as a professional, and getting the opportunity to kick someone I have dreamed of kicking for a long time.”
