New arrival Florian Thauvin is already a fan favourite after scoring on his home debut against Northampton, and he endeared himself further to the Toon Army with his attire ahead of Arsenal’s visit.

He’s not even the first of the Magpies’ new signings to don a tuxedo this season, with Chancel Mbemba rocking up to St James’ Park in style ahead of his debut earlier in the season.
