Then, every so often, someone does what Steven Luatua did against the Chiefs and it makes you shudder.
The All Blacks flanker was red-carded before half time of the Blues’ 41-26 defeat, and a sending off nearly seemed too lenient if we’re being honest.
His late hit on Nanai-Williams was out of order. Even calling it a late hit doesn’t feel right because the victim never even had the ball.
Luatua is sold with a dummy, Nanai-Williams is cleaned for no reason.
