We’ve got the first teaser trailer for EA Sports UFC 3 and it’s safe to say that the upcoming release from the franchise looks just a little bit amazing.

It comes as no surprise that Conor McGregor, the only fighter in UFC history to have held world titles in two different weight divisions simultaneously, has been given the honour of gracing the cover because, with Ronda Rousey and Jon Jones out of action, ‘The Notorious’ stands alone as the biggest star on the roster.

“Two belts, two covers – EA Sports got it right again,” McGregor said. “It’s an honour to be on the cover and I can’t wait to play the game.”

EA Sports UFC 3 has a series of new fascinating features, including a totally revamped animation technology – called Real Player Motion – which will make fighters’ intricate movements more realistic than ever before.

“UFC 3 and RPM Tech mark a new generation of gameplay in EA Sports games,” said the game’s Creative Director, Brian Hayes. “The new animation technology has allowed us to take a massive leap forward in motion and responsiveness. The result is a complete overhaul to gameplay where every move is more strategic and looks more authentic and beautiful.”

G.O.A.T. Career Mode is also a new feature coming to EA Sports UFC 3 which is essentially similar to the Fifa franchise’s Journey mode. It allows you to play through a fighter’s career, making promotional decisions and cultivating a social media presence to boost popularity among fans.

Many more features, following on from the ever-popular Knockout Mode, include Stand & Bang Mode, Submission Showdown Mode, Fight Now Custom and an overhauled Tournament Mode.

EA SPORTS UFC 3 will be available worldwide on February 2 for Xbox One and PlayStation4. Pre-order the Champions Edition now and receive early access!
