1. The New Balance, JOE.co.uk (the Competition) is only open to residents of England, Scotland and Wales (residents of Northern Ireland are specifically excluded) aged 16 and over, except for employees (and their immediate families) of New Balance or any group companies (New Balance) or any freelance contractors, or anyone else connected with New Balance. Entrants under the age of 18 must obtain written parental or guardian consent to claim the prize. New Balance may ask the winners to provide proof of age.
2. For the purposes of these terms and conditions, any reference to entrant(s) or winner(s) shall mean the fan(s) randomly chosen as a winner by New Balance/JOE.
3. To enter the Competition you must (i) Follow @NBFootball on Instagram (ii) Follow @FootballJOE on Instagram (iii) tag 1 (one) friend in the replies between 11.00 on Friday 2nd November 2018 and 23.00 on Monday 5th November 2018. There will be seven (7) winners who will win the following: 1 pair of New Balance Furon FG (Any Size). In addition, there will be three (3) winners who will 1 pair of New Balance Tekela FG pro (Any Size). Subject to Competition conditions 10 and 11 below.
4. All fans who meet the above criterion will be entered into a random prize draw where 10 (ten) fans will be randomly selected to win a prize. Only one entry per fan is permitted.
5. New Balance accept no responsibility for entries which are delayed, invalid or not received for any reason.
6. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed. You are responsible for any costs (if any) in relation to your Competition entry.
7. The winners will be contacted from 10.00am BST on Tuesday 30th October 2018 onwards by their original method of entry. The winner will be required to confirm their size within 3 (three) business days of being contacted.
8. If the winner does not respond within the required time period (3 business days), then the winner’s prize will be forfeited and New Balance will be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process above.
IMPORTANT
The prize for the winner is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered. The prize is subject to availability. New Balance reserves the right at all times to substitute any prize with another prize of similar value in the event the original prize offered is for any reason not available.
10. The decision of New Balance regarding any aspect of the Competition is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
11. Entrants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry. New Balance reserve the right to refuse
entry, or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.
12. New Balance reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the promotion where it becomes necessary to do so.
13. Winners may be required to participate in publicity related to the Competition which may include the publication of their name and photograph in any media.
14. By entering into the Competition, entrants warrant that all information submitted is true, accurate and complete. New Balance reserves the right to verify the eligibility of all entrants.
15. Subject to Competition condition 16 below, New Balance accept no responsibility or liability and shall not be responsible or liable for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury or disappointment incurred or suffered by you as a result of entering the Competition or winning, accepting or using any prize. New Balance further disclaim any liability for any injury or damage to your or any other person’s computer, tablet or mobile device relating to or arising from any participation in or downloading any materials in connection with the Competition. The maximum liability of New Balance in relation to the Competition shall be to deliver the notified prizes to winners of the Competition.
16. Nothing in these terms and conditions shall exclude or limit the liability of New Balance for any death, personal injury, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation suffered as a result of negligence on the part of New Balance.
17. New Balance shall not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations where such failure is caused by something outside of New Balance’s reasonable control including, but without limitation, any inclement weather conditions, fire, flood, hurricane, act of terrorism, strike, industrial dispute, war, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion or any government legislation.
18. New Balance reserves the right at any time to modify, amend or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, this Competition with or without prior notice due to reasons outside of the control of New Balance.
19. Within 3 (three) business days of contact, the winners will be required to confirm their delivery details.
20. The Competition will be governed by English law and entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
