"His face was opened up and he was still coming at me. You gotta respect Nate Diaz."

Conor McGregor was clearly impressed by the heart and determination shown by his opponent on Saturday night. Nate Diaz's face was busted up badly by the end of the first round of his UFC 202 bout with Conor McGregor. It was pulped by the end of the second. In the closing rounds, the Stockton native could have done with windscreen wipers as blood was flowing freely from his cuts. This was the 31-year-old's 30th professional MMA fight. "Look at my face," he remarked. He did comment on the fact that, remarkably, he was still standing while his opponent was off to the hospital to have his shin and foot examined. https://twitter.com/MikeBohnMMA/status/767241676263784448 Someone get that man a refreshing drink.
