Nahki Wells’ attempted Panenka against Tim Krul goes horribly wrong

There's no doubt about it, when they come off, Panenkas look great - by far the coolest way of dispatching a penalty. Every now and then, though, we're reminded of how the taker looks anything but cool when a Panenka doesn't quite go as planned. Step forward Nahki Wells, who was presented with the chance to tuck away a penalty for Bristol City at a crucial time in their Championship meeting with Norwich on Saturday afternoon. Trailing 3-1 with 15 minutes to go, his penalty would've given them a decent chance to salvage at least a point. But no. Wells opted for the Panenka - a brave choice given he was facing penalty-saving machine Tim Krul in the Norwich goal.
