Michael Owen has had enough.
The BT Sport pundit's commentary style comes in for frequent criticism on social media, with many fans disliking his tendency to state the obvious.
Like, for example, when he said Manchester City fail to win when they don't score.

But Owen has taken issue with the Daily Star for attributing quotes to him from yesterday's game between Man City and Leicester City which he claims he never said.
Specifically the line: "If the game finished now, Leicester would win."

Owen went further, and hit out at "expert" journalists, who he claims don't possess a fraction of his football knowledge.

If we were stating the obvious, we'd say Owen isn't happy.
