Upon looking at the first angle, Hooper looked bang to rights.

The Australian scrum needed all the help it could get against a dominant English pack. The Wallabies needed Hooper to pack down and assist his tighthead. Instead, an overhead camera appeared to show the openside tossing a handful of sand into the eyes of opposite number James Haskell. https://twitter.com/RichLeighPR/status/744118012349919232 However, a second angle has completely vindicated Hooper from any wrongdoing: https://twitter.com/rugbycomau/status/744184958915248128 There was no stopping Haskell, however, as he made tackle after tackle after tackle for the English cause. Eddie Jones' men won 23-7 to claim their first ever Test series Down Under.
