Henderson, who earned Performance of the Night honours (along with Bisping) for his second-round KO of Hector Lombard, took home $800,000 in total. That is more than double the $350,000 handed out to Cruz, who had no win bonus for his decision victory over Urijah Faber.
The figures do not include any cuts of pay-per-view figures, which have not been made public, or other sums relating to sponsorship or additional bonuses not shared by the promotion.
Max Holloway ($150,000) and Dustin Poirier ($110,000) were the only other fighters to take home six figures in their disclosed purses, with half of their respective payouts coming in the form of win bonuses.
Birmingham's Tom Breese, who suffered his first career defeat via split decision, earned $19,000 from his loss to Sean Strickland.
As for Bisping, the $250,000 payout will surely only grow as a result of the future sponsorship opportunities a title gives him, not to mention payouts from his first and any subsequent title defences.
