Calm down PSG fans, it *could* simply be due to a stock issue

Paris Saint-Germain striker Kylian Mbappe’s name was temporarily removed from the club’s list of options in the “personalise” section on the club’s online store.

The players’ names and numbers for the home shirt are listed from “Six – Marco Verratti” to “Eight- Leandro Paredes”, but they had missed out “Seven – Mbappe”.

According to reports, the Frenchman’s home shirt was also missing from the Nike store. However, as per RMC Sport, the issue, on both PSG’s website and also Nike’s, could actually be down to a stock issue.

The 23-year-old’s other jerseys could still be purchased on different sections of the club’s website, but it didn’t stop fans from speculating that the Parisians were preparing for his expected exit in the summer.

Mbappe ‘agreed personal terms’ with Madrid

Earlier this week, it was reported that the former Monaco man had agreed personal terms with Real Madrid, but was yet to sign any paperwork.

The Athletic claimed that the 23-year-old had agreed terms with the Spanish champions and Champions League finalists, but that he was yet to put pen to paper on the move.

It is also thought that PSG are still trying to convince him to sign an extension on his contract, which runs out in the summer.

The striker has scored 116 goals in 141 games for the French giants, being crowned the Ligue 1 player of the year three times.

After receiving his latest award, Mbappe explained: “I will officially announce my decision on the future before I join the France national team in June.

“I can’t say about my future but you’ll know very soon, it’s almost decided.

“This isn’t the right moment but yes, yes, my decision is almost done.”
