Another day, another twist in the Mauro Icardi romance drama

At this point, there’s been far more drama than any episode of Love Island, but there has been another twist in Mauro Icardi’s relationship with Wanda Nara.

It was only days ago that it seemed that things had been patched up after Nara had accused the Paris Saint-Germain forward of cheating  with Icardi posting photos of the ‘happy’ couple back together again.

But now it seems like it was all in vein and the two are in fact no longer an item according to the MailOnline.

On the 28-year-old’s Instagram account, he posted a picture with the caption “it’s not so bad going solo” whilst also unfollowing Nara on the platform too.

The drama between the two has been high-profile to say the least with their story dominating the back pages of headlines, so much so that Icardi was even granted permission to miss PSG’s Champions League game against RB Leipzig to resolve the crisis.

But despite posting a series of photos in which the forward praised his bond with Nara saying: “Thank you my love for continuing to believe in this beautiful family, thanks for being the motor of our lives. I love you.”  that seemed to be very much in the moment.

Who knows whether we will see this infamous duo back together, but in the meantime, it seems like Icardi is in contention to play against Marseille on Sunday night with PSG boss Mauricio Pochettino confirming he will be available in his press conference on Saturday night.

He said: “Icardi is a strong player psychologically. He has trained and will be in the squad for tomorrow.”

One normal day in Mauro Icardi’s life, that’s all we ask for.
