Martin Tyler leaves Sky Sports after more than three decades

Martin Tyler has confirmed he will leave Sky Sports ahead of the upcoming Premier League season, bringing an end to his 33 years at the broadcaster.
The 77-year-old will step down from his role at Sky ahead of the 2023/24 Premier League campaign.
It is not thought that he is retiring though.
The legendary broadcaster said it had been a "privilege to play a small part in the broadcasting history of the greatest league in the world."
He said in a statement: “In my humble opinion, the huge corporation Sky is today has stemmed from Sky Sports’ innovative and inspired coverage of the Premier League.
“It has been a privilege to play a small part in the broadcasting history of the greatest league in the world.
“Along the way I have worked alongside legions of wonderful professionals in all aspects of the television industry.
“I thank them all for their support and expertise. It has been an honour to be a member of a very gifted team.”
Sky Sports’ director of football, Gary Hughes, said: “Everyone at Sky Sports would like to say a heartfelt thank you to Martin for his unparalleled contribution and dedication to our coverage over the last 30 years.
“'The Voice’ will always be synonymous with the Premier League and Sky Sports.
“When you think of commentary, you think of Martin Tyler. ‘Collymore closing in’ [from Liverpool’s 4-3 win over Newcastle in 1996] and ‘Aguerrrrrroooooooooo’ are two of the greatest moments in Premier League history.
“We thank him and wish him all the very best for the future.”
Tyler's departure is the latest for Sky Sports' Premier League coverage. Last month, Jeff Stelling stepped down from Soccer Saturday after hosting the much-loved show for more than a quarter of a century.
And this season also saw the surprise departure of Graeme Souness as a pundit, after 15 years in the role.
Reacting to the news, one person said: "Sad day for football, what a legend he is!"
Another wrote: "God tier commentator & the soundtrack to the premier league & so many legendary moments.
"As a Gooner I instantly think Adams goal against Everton, Wiltord vs Utd, Overmars vs Utd etc Then think Liverpool vs Newcastle 4-3 & of course, THAT Aguero moment.
"Salute to him."
