He’s interested in the project
Manchester United are still keen to secure PSG midfielder Manuel Ugarte and the 23-year-old has expressed an interest in moving to Old Trafford.
Ugarte is said to be interested in the club’s long term project but there is still no agreement between the two clubs.
According to Florian Plettenberg, the two clubs remain in contact but there is a huge gap between the asking price and what United are willing to pay.

Erik ten Hag has already bolstered his side this summer as the Reds welcomed Leny Yoro and Joshua Zirkzee. However, the former has already been ruled out of the start of the season after picking up an injury on their pre-season tour.
Ugarte was one of four midfielders shortlisted by Manchester United, one of which was Joao Neves who has now completed a move to PSG, potentially handing United a boost in their bid to sign Ugarte as his exit looks increasingly likely.
However, PSG want in the region of £51 million for the Uruguayan which the Reds are not willing to pay.
Ugarte has also been linked with Atletico, but they are now moving in on signing Conor Gallagher whilst Chelsea were linked with the midfielder last summer.
Whilst a deal remains uncertain, United continue to shop around.
Meanwhile, Ugarte currently wears the number four shirt for PSG and the number 25 for Uruguay, which was occupied by Sofyan Amrabat who has already departed and Jadon Sancho who also faces uncertainty over his future at the club. Ugarte could bag himself the dream move and his desired shirt number.
