They've got the likes of Juan Mata and Marcus Rashford nowadays, so things are looking up. And if Andreas Pereira manages to fight his way into Jose Mourinho's first-team plans, then the Red Devils might have the most confident corner-taker in the Premier League setting up chances. Pereira starred for United during their 3-0 preseason victory over Valerenga on Sunday, when he came off the bench to replace Marouane Fellaini, who had opened the scoring on the stroke of half-time. Pereira was immediately put on corner duty and he didn't take long to prove his worth as he whipped in a perfect cross with his right foot, allowing new signing Romelu Lukaku to power home a header. https://twitter.com/Classy_Mourinho/status/891723660720996352 Moments later Pereira wandered over to the other corner flag but, rather then step forward with his favoured right foot, he wanted to utilise another in-swinger so decided to send it in with his weaker left. Sure, the second didn't result in a goal like the first but the youngster's confidence earned him a lot of new fans. Having spent last season on loan with Granada, Pereira is hopeful of staying at Old Trafford for the next campaign and compete for a place in United's midfield.
