The fun and games have already started. Jose Mourinho is the heavy favourite to be Manchester United's next boss and the transfer rumour mill has cranked up to '11'.

Were Mourinho to get the United job - his representatives are at Old Trafford meeting club officials today - he would be expecting a transfer war-chest.
The current United team have some star quality and promising youngsters but Mourinho will, no doubt, bolster the squad with steel, pace and guys who can pass the ball forward.
Were United to get even a fraction of the players currently being linked to them, their 2016/17 matchday squad would take some beating.
