They're chasing four trophies this season and appear to have bagged the biggest name in the football management game from the start of next season.
It's all enough to make rivals envious, and as they hosted Everton on Wednesday evening, plenty of Manchester United fans reverted to a familiar topic - the Etihad Stadium's empty seats.
It's not the first time it's happened - even Sky Sports joined in when a few home supporters failed to turn up for a League Cup fixture against Hull City earlier in the season.
