You know a banner is truly awful when the use of Comic Sans as the font is probably the least worst thing about it. But fair play to these Manchester United fans - they've made something so incredibly hideous that we want to stab ourselves in the eyes repeatedly after having witnessed it.
If jokes about Steven Gerrard slipping could be perceived as a tad old by now (it happened back in 2014 FFS) - especially if you're playing Watford and not Liverpool - then the use of a dabbing gag that doesn't even make sense is even worse. Why would you be proud of dabbing anyway?
The banner reads 'Pogba dab', with Paul Pogba dabbing; 'Lingard dab', with Jesse Lingard dabbing; and then 'Gerrard dab', with Steven Gerrard slipping and looking a bit (but not really at all) as if he may be doing something remotely similar to dabbing too. That's it - that's the gag.
In fairness to United fans everywhere, they were suitably mortified by the offending sign and joined in the pisstaking as much as anyone else. Although it still may result in relegation down to League Two and public flogging or two.
